Empathy is one of the most valuable gifts we possess as humans\, the ability to listen deeply to others and to be deeply heard and understood without judgment.  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n“Deep listening is the kind of listening that can help relieve the suffering of another person. You can call it compassionate listening. You listen with only one purpose: to help him or her to empty his heart.”Thich Nhat Hanh\n\n\n\n“Empathy is a respectful understanding of what others are experiencing. Instead of offering empathy\, we have a strong urge to give advice or reassurance and to explain our own position or feeling. Empathy\, however\, calls upon us to empty our mind and listen to others with our whole being.” Marshall B.
