SUMMARY:Pottery Playshop: Etched in Stone Plates
DESCRIPTION:BYOB! Here is your chance to design and handcraft a food-safe functional and decorative plate. You can use letter stamps to write quotes\, and messages or commemorate a special event. Decorative and texture stamps can create scenes and designs- your creation can be as simple or ornate as you want.  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBeginning with wet clay\, you will use hand-building methods demonstrated by potter\, Teresa Speakman to form and decorate your plate. Feel free to bring a favorite beverage to enjoy while you play with clay! BYOB \n\n\n\nYour piece will then be finished by Primitive Mud Pottery Studio: it will need to dry for several days and be fired in the bisque kiln\, then food-safe glaze applied and fired again in the glaze firing to vitrify the clay into durable ceramic.
